We would like to bring a critical issue to your attention concerning the use of non-genuine replacement parts in Amerex fire extinguishers — specifically, counterfeit valve stems.
These unauthorized components often differ in size and specification from original Amerex-manufactured parts. Such discrepancies can compromise the extinguisher’s performance, potentially preventing proper actuation during an emergency. Additionally, the use of non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts voids both the product warranty and the UL certification label.
Please be advised that Amerex fire extinguishers are engineered as integrated systems. Mixing and matching components not designed to work together undermines the reliability and effectiveness of the unit.
