Video: Worker Charged With Starting Fire at New York Supermarket Full of Shoppers

New York—A supermarket employee was charged with arson after allegedly starting a fire on a paper goods shelf inside the Staten Island ShopRite. Surveillance footage revealed that as the fire quickly spread across the shelves and aisle, a quick-thinking customer used a fire extinguisher to partially suppress the flames before FDNY crews arrived to fully extinguish the blaze.
