Kennewick, WA—Kristin Myers credits her smoke alarms with saving her life when a fire broke out in her home in the early morning hours. All four alarms, installed for free by the American Red Cross just a year earlier, sounded and woke her up, allowing her to escape the dangerous smoke with her dog. Read the entire article here.
